Hello,
It's been a busy time here in Haiti. We've all had our schedules and day to day routines shuffled to all pitch in and help where we can with the Earthquake relief. This past Friday, was the first time for us (the missionaries in Cayes) to take a break since January 12th; we got together, enjoyed a movie "the gods must be crazy" and some fellowship.
But we were all right back to helping the next day. I was taken to an area (Roche Jabouin) who has received no help at all. We brought some food and supplies. As the hospitals seem to have things in control and have been able to receive the necessary medical supplies, we are now working on the International organizations to bring in food supplies.
This past week, HCI (Haiti's Children, Inc) helped supply food, clothing and shoes for 11 churches and a refugee camp that is housing 265 people (105 are children) from PAP. We took care packages and food to ALL the patients at the hospital. This has happened through your generous donations and support.
The missionaries here in Cayes, continue to work together in force reaching out to as many people as we can, combining our efforts.
I spoke with a few of the patients this week while at the hospital, asked if I could do an impromptu interview as stories have traveled from one group to another and have changed quite drastically. I'm hoping to get a newsletter together soon and bring you their message and pictures. They are so thankful to all of you for your prayers and support.
Thank you all for your continued prayers.
God's blessings
